What to set up in your Shopify store for maximum performance?
The season is approaching - and while you are busy with inventory, packaging, and campaigns, your Shopify store might not be living up to even half of its potential.
Shopify released over 150 new features this spring (Spring ‘26 Edition). I have gone through them all and selected the 10 that will have a real impact on how much you sell this season. From AI marketing to how customers shopping via ChatGPT will find you.
1. Be visible where people shop now
Customers are increasingly searching for products through AI tools — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI overview. Shopify now automatically gets your products into these channels. You can see the performance, track sales, and get specific guidance on what you are missing to convert. If you don't have this turned on yet, it is time to get started.

2. Connect Sidekick with the apps you already use
Shopify Sidekick can now not only answer questions but act directly within your apps - it works with Judge.me, Klaviyo, Loop, Smile, and others. If you are running an app that doesn't integrate with it, consider switching. During the season, it will speed up your email production and review responses.
3. Launch your AI assistant in Inbox — now, not in December
The new AI bot for Shopify Inbox answers customers and recommends products. It needs time to learn how to respond correctly - launch it now, not when the holiday rush hits. Then it will be your partner exactly when you need it most.

4. Test your checkout before it matters most
Rollouts can run A/B tests on templates, checkout, and customer accounts directly from the admin panel. Before you launch your seasonal campaigns, test which version of the checkout converts better. A small difference in checkout = a big difference at the end of the season.
5. Stop disabling entire products because of one size
You can now publish individual product variants separately - across channels and markets. When you run out of one size, the rest remain visible and available for purchase. No workarounds, no duplicate products.
6. Get advice on pricing
Shopify Smart Pricing provides pricing tips at the product level - based on sales, inventory, costs, and seasonality. You don't have to guess which product to mark up or mark down before it ends up sitting in your warehouse.
7. Make B2B accessible without extra fees
Company profiles, quantity pricing, up to three B2B catalogs - now available even on lower plans without extra charges. If you have wholesale customers, you don't need to look for a separate solution for them.
8. Let campaigns run themselves
Autopilot launches campaigns across channels using AI that learns and optimizes performance on the fly. You set the parameters, you track the results. It currently works mainly for Meta and email - and is in early access.

9. Add WhatsApp as a marketing channel
WhatsApp campaigns can now be created and managed directly in Shopify Messaging - alongside email and SMS. No restrictions for the Czech market.
10. Keep an overview even when away from your computer
Sidekick is now available on Apple Watch. You ask what the sales were today - and you have the answer on your wrist. A small thing that comes in handy on the days when you are not sitting at a monitor but need to know how things are going the most.
Do you know if your e-shop is really running at full speed?
E-shop settings look simple - but each of these features has its details, dependencies, and a correct order of activation. A poorly set-up A/B test or an AI bot without data will do more harm than good during the season.
If you aren't sure where to start - start with an audit. We will go through the e-shop together, identify weak points, and set priorities. Or simply entrust the setup to me and let's go.
