MAKRO Gastro Fest 2026

MAKRO Gastro Fest 2026

The Makro gastro festival took place over the weekend and there was certainly plenty to see.

I highly appreciate the large number of exhibitors and the varied program. Personally, I was most interested in the bar section, the pleasant music, the light installations, and also the creatively designed stands of the individual alcohol brands.

Another interesting element was the option to print your own photo on macarons – a great interactive idea with the potential to be used at various events.

I also really enjoyed the coffee section, especially the performance by Maria Kurenkova from La Bohème Cafe, who engagingly introduced different types of coffee and showed how to properly taste them, including cupping.

The gastro show and the seafood presentation were also a powerful experience.

On the other hand, I was a bit disappointed by the long queues, the less visibly located coffee section, and the overall smaller number of interactive elements compared to, for example, Czech Online Expo.

How did you perceive the festival? What caught your attention and what would you improve instead?
